Yellow Label Kids
The Yellow Label Kids collection was born in the San Francisco
Bay Area, by a woman who had left a corporate job in New York City, to become
a full-time mother and part-time teacher.
Her son and many students inspired her to look for an alternative to mass-produced,
commercial toys and clothing.
Items that would celebrate the beauty and simplicity of childhood, as well
as the individual spirit of each child.
In her search, she was fortunate to connect with groups of artisans in different
countries, mostly mothers themselves, who earn real living wages from the
handcrafts they produce.
Her son enjoys the engaging and special products made by these artists and
she loves to see his imagination sparked by toys that are simple, natural
and exquisitely crafted.
